As part of the Government's Extended Schools Initiative, we provide onsite courses for parents and teachers.
Let us use your facilities to help the community and build a better future for us all.
Currently, we are offering the following main courses:
All we ask is to be provided with a classroom which has a whiteboard or preferably access to your ICT suite.
Then your school can start to spread this amazing offer to your parents.
We can provide flyers advertising materials etc.
These courses have been specifically designed to help take away the fear factor many of us have when it comes to anything related to IT.
The aim is to make our attendees feel comfortable and aware of the possibilities that IT can offer.
At the end of the relevant course, each attendee will be given an attendance certificate, and anyone who completes all the courses will be given a QIT proficiency certificate.
Advice will also be given for anyone who would like to increase their knowledge and develop further.
We ask for a minimum class size of 10 people and Maximum of 16.
Attendees are welcome to bring in their own Laptops and ask whatever questions they may have in the field of IT.
We can schedule these classes along the lines of weekday evenings after 6:30pm, and weekends 10am or 3pm.
This is a pilot scheme and depending on its success, we are looking to offer more advanced courses such as web development, networking, system admin etc...
We would love to come and visit your school and personally answer any questions you may have regarding these courses.
We can all benefit from this service and are open to any additional suggestions.
